As a real-life lumberjack and one- time hockey star, actor Stephen Shellenberger learned early on to see both the forest and the trees, how to read the play, and some very critical outdoor survival skills. Recognizing the dangers of many predators that lurked within the darker parts of the woods, especially the Holly-“woods” became second nature to him. Escaping their schemes of evil and retribution however required some fancy stick- handling and head fakes in real life.
