Tonight we are joined by first-time guest Dave McLennan. Dave is the founder of Boots On The Ground, a Peer Support Group For First Responders. Dave launched Boots On The Ground in November 2018 to provide an anonymous, confidential, and caring 24/7 peer support help line for first responders in his area.
Dave had become passionate about the impact that exposure to trauma was having on first responders and believed he could bring together a dedicated group of volunteers to make a difference. Since launch, BOTG has answered over 470 calls for assistance from first responders.
Dave is a retired Police Officer having retired in 2016 after 30 years of service.
