Alexis Cossette-Trudel

Alexis was born in Cuba from Canadian parents in exile there after the 1970 political turmoil in Quebec. After returning to Canada, Alexis completed a M.A. in political science, focusing on foreign policy, strategic studies and information warfare. He went on to complete a Ph.D. in religious studies with a focus in philosophy of language and semiology (semiology is the science of signs and symbols – as does Robert Langdon who is a religious semiologist in the Da Vinci Code).

Alexis has been involved in Canadian politics and has published over a dozen articles in Le Devoir, a Quebec newspaper.
