 Patrick Burns – is a former U.S. Marine, a retired U. S. Special Agent and a writer. He’s investigated criminals and terrorists throughout the world, including leading an anti-terrorist unit in Iraq while embedded with the U.S. Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Earned her PhD degree in Russian politics at the London School of Economics where she has taught as well as stints teaching at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and Carleton University in Canada and worked for eighteen years at the U.S. Library of Congress as a Soviet/Russian affairs specialist.
