Dana Durnford

Biography:

I have worked in every commercial fishing industry and commercial underwater diving industry on both the Atlantic and pacific Canadian coast lines from 1975 to 2001. I was the captain and lead commercial diver of over a dozen commercial diving vessels and logged in excess of 14,000 hours of sea floor bottom time. I was seriously injured after 128 days open ocean diving 6 hours each day without returning to port in 2001 and spent weeks in a re-compression chamber.

I have a 7 year history in nuclear and have been following Japans radiation releases closely. In the last year I have launched 5 Fukushima exploratory expeditions along the coast line of BC Canada documenting the marine life birds insects mammals animals etc etc and comparing those results to pre fukushima academic species counts.
