Biography:

ER doc in long term recovery from Percocet and then fentanyl abuse in 2014. Culminated in much loss (but also much gain!) as I discovered the tools of recovery are akin to the keys to enduring happiness. Optimistic view on life and enjoy helping others in any capacity I can. Recently received favourable verdict from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario that my medical license will be reinstated after a 14-month suspension. My own public speaking talk, entitled, “Life and Living with Stress” has been received well over the years. It covers the opioid crisis, my story and the common thread of poor coping with the ever-increasing stresses in life.
