Biography:

Dave is a retired Police Officer having retired in 2016 after 30 years of service. Dave is the president and founder of Boots On The Ground.

Dave had become passionate about the impact that exposure to trauma was having on first responders and believed he could bring together a dedicated group of volunteers to make a difference.

After two years of planning the types of services needed and engaging in training and developing procedures, an anonymous, confidential, and caring 24/7 peer support help line was launched.

Since the November 26, 2018 launch BOTG has answered over 470 calls for assistance from first responders.
