This daughter of a pastor and missionary has been involved in church ministry since the age of 5.

Education:
Business school for Executive Assistants
B.A. in Education with minors in Bible and Music
MSW in Social Work (included internships in foster care, hospital, and psychiatric hospital)
LGSW license

Work experience:
Educator of pre-K through 12th grade (public and private school teacher and substitute teacher; homeschool teacher)
Childcare for a church of 15,000 in multiple locations—managed a staff of 25; started a nursery school for children of church staff members
Writing and editorial experience: 24 years

Volunteer experience:
Many volunteer opportunities at church and school involving children
Music performance in churches in Jamaica, Finland, and the US; and at the Bolshoi in Moscow, Russia
