Steve Byas is a Contributor for The New American magazine & Published Author.
Born and raised in Duncan, Oklahoma, and in addition to teaching at Randall, he is also a contributor to The New American magazine and has authored two mystery novels, one high school government textbook, and his latest book, History’s Greatest Libels. His work has appeared in The Tennessee Historical Quarterly and the Oklahoma Constitution newspaper.
Steve Byas teaches Sunday School and is a deacon in his church. He and his wife, Donna, live in Norman. Their son, Jason, is a doctoral student at the University of Illinois and wants to follow his father as a college professor.
Steve has also written for The Tennessee Historical Quarterly & Oklahoma Constitution newspapers and has a Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma. He has additional education also at the University of Oklahoma.
